Getting personal...

Born in Paris and raised on Maohi Land (Tahiti, French Polynesia), I immigrated to the US in 2013 as a Track/Cross-country student-athlete with a Chinese & Premed major.

After discovering mindfulness in 2014 and studying international public health in 2016-2017 at Zhejiang University (浙江大学), China, I re-routed my path from medical school to finding my true calling.

 

Soul-searching brought me to Ohlone Land in the Bay Area. As a research lab manager and community organizer there, I experienced the power of people-led advocacy and saw the impact of social forces and historical trauma on individuals & communities.

After a year spent deepening my mindfulness practice in 2019, I started my Master's in Counseling at CIIS early 2020 and learned permaculture from a few land-based projects on the East Coast in 2021-2022. The wild continues to inspire my therapy practice.

 

Now surrounded by streams and forests on Abenaki Land, VT, I spend my time acquiring practical earth skills and deepening in relationship with those willing to sense their authentic way through the climate crisis.
